so this is day two of my diet, and strangely enough, my immune system has been going down, I'm sick again, for the second time in two weeks. I've been eating healthier but my immune system is just shutting down. It's bananas, but my diet has been great, with lots of yummy snacks and mini meals, I have resorted to eating 5-7 small meals a day instead of the traditional 3 meals a day.
Breakfast
- 2 scoops of APEX Lean Drink Mix: Vanilla (you can buy this at 24 Hour Fitness or www.apexfitness.com) its yummy, I promise
- 8 ounces of almond milk
- half a banana
- 0.5 cup of frozen berries
*blend all together to make a yummy protein shake aka breakfast
Snack 1
- 1 cup of edamame
Snack 2
- Apple
Lunch
- Indian Naan bread
- Hummus
Snack 3
- 0.5 cup of greek yogurt
- 0.25 cup of trail mix (one without chocolate, just nuts and dried cranberries)
Snack 4
- Banana
Dinner
- whatever my mom makes, I just don't eat much rice (maybe 0.5 cup)
Workout
- 30 mins treadmill/ elliptical
- 30 free weights or machine
So that's my typical day for food. I have a lot of great snacking idea, because I love to snack. But if you eat like this, probably you will loose about maybe a pound a week.
